As an inaugural fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, Sadie maintains the highest credentials in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.  She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, Nationally Certified by the NCCAOM and holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Sadie is a professional member of RESOLVE, the largest fertility advocacy organization in the US.

In addition to private practice, Sadie has worked in such diverse settings as the Genetics & IVF Institute of Virginia and the Carl Vogel Center of Washington, DC.  There she conducted a study that documented acupuncture as a valuable treatment for pain in patients living with HIV.  Sadie has lectured at both The Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin and The Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as being a reviewer for the Art of Medicine Press.

Michelle Schreiber MSOM, L.Ac, has been practicing in the complementary health care field since 1997, including eleven years in Austin, Texas.

Previous to her current Acupuncture practice in Austin, Michelle spent several years in an integrated health center in Washington D.C. (Tulsi Holistic Living) and at the Carl Vogel Center; a multi-disciplinary HIV clinic. In 2005, she co-authored a study on acupuncture and pain management with HIV patients. She has also been a reviewer for the Art of Medicine press.

Michelle  received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA). She holds a certification in occupational acupuncture, a practice which aims at helping to heal musculo-skeletal injury and reduce or eliminate pain from injury, repetitive strain, or overuse.  She has also received advanced training in women’s health and fertility issues. Currently, Michelle is working toward her PhD in Classical Chinese Medicine at the American University of Complementary Medicine.

Her extensive bodywork/massage training includes: Tuina (Chinese medical massage), shiatsu, deep massage, pre-natal and sports massage. She is a graduate of: The Shiatsu Institute and Therapy Center in San Francisco; The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage in Austin; and the Asian bodywork program at AOMA, where she continued to assist in the Tuina department.

As a Certified Nutritional Consultant, Michelle’s passion for food and nutrition is rooted in a lifetime of study. She has completed nutritional training in “Food as Medicine” (through the Center for Mind Body Medicine and Georgetown University Medical School) and she is certified by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC).

Michelle is licensed in Acupuncture by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners and holds Diplomate status in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is also is a Reiki Master, and a meditation guide at the Austin Shambhala Meditation Center.  Outside of the office, Michelle can be found practicing yoga, cycling, running, volunteering, and playing the drums.
