During the initial session we assess your health history and review your personalized treatment plan. In addition to acupuncture you may be given nutritional or lifestyle recommendations and prescribed an herbal formula if appropriate.
Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing, eat a light meal beforehand, and plan on refraining from strenuous physical or mental activity for two hours after the treatment. Initial visits last at least an hour-and-a-half. Follow-up sessions are one hour.
