Laura Farb L.Ac.

Laura Farb has been practicing Chinese Medicine for fifteen years.  She ran a private clinic in Austin for over eight years and then worked for four years in the Bay Area of San Francisco. There she worked as a clinic supervisor at the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences, at several high-volume community clinics, and a busy private practice in inner-city Oakland.

She is nationally certified with the NCCAOM, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, and is licensed in both Texas and California.

Laura uses a gentle approach that treats the whole body to resolve the symptoms of disease as well as support the body’s innate ability to heal. Nutrition is a passion of Laura’s and she is a certified Applied Clinical Nutritionist.

She has treated a wide range of people and conditions. Currently, her focus is women’s health, pain, and anxiety. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her hiking on the green belt or swimming at Barton Springs. She enjoys Contact Improvisation and figuring out how to cook with her Insta-Pot.

Patients love us!

I was recommended to Sage Acupuncture by my team at Texas Fertility Center... they not only helped increase my fertility, but worked on other related issues like my digestion and anxiety as well as periodic headaches and allergy symptoms. - Meg H.

Sage Acupuncture is simply wonderful! I've been a client for over two years, before, during and after pregnancy. - Shannon H.

These ladies are great-- very knowledgable, kind and gentle. I started a year ago to help with fertility, my progesterone was extremely low. Within a few months it was within normal range, and I was pregnant. I then continued all throughout my pregnancy for maintenance and comfort.
- Stacia D.
